RETRO
In 1987, I wanted to be a
photographer. I still do. I came into possession of a used Canon F1
with a 50mm f/2 lens and
started tearing through black and white Kodak Tri-x film. With each
hand rolled cartridge, I was
learning. Slow, steady, progress.
I entered one of my numerous
images in the local county fair that year. I won first place, garnering
a
blue ribbon and five bucks.
I was hooked.
The following images were
made between 1987 and 1990.
